As Time Goes On.

Life has been a whirlwind these past few weeks; ever since our debrief in Jinja, our time here seems to fly by at a faster pace every day. The thought "we only have three weeks left" pops into my mind unexpectantly everyday and I begin to feel the urge to push 100% of myself into my ministry. I realize more and more how great of friendships I have made with the boys of Makabore High School. It is strange to think that soon I wont be hanging out with them everyday. At 7:30 I wont be leading devotions with them. At 1:00 I wont be sneaking away from eating lunch with the staff...

From End to Beginning

February 1, 2013 So, incase you didn't know, we made it! About 13 days ago…haha After the conclusion of our radically life changing training camp, we embarked on a 40 hour journey that was nothing short adventurous. We went from waiting for 9 hours in the Atlanta airport to sprinting from plane to plane in Germany and Ethiopia. Expectations Are Meaningless!

Well, we are in Uganda! 36 days later… Sorry that it had taken me so long to post a blog, but I had some complications with my password. As you can see, they have been resolved! The Power of the Holy Spirit

Mark 16:15 says, “And then he told them, “Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone.”   The last Saturday of every month the students of Makobore High School are allowed to leave the campus and go into town for the afternoon. We decided to walk along the road leading to the school with hopes of preaching the Gospel, something we call door to door ministry. I had never done this before and was...

It’s an I Love Africa Day

Patience is the official word concerning the past two weeks. While the students are in class, most of our team doesn't have much to do except sit and wait until the studens are out of class. The first week where we sat around was the hardest week here so far. I felt useless and anxious to do something productive until five o clock rolled around and we could hang out with the students. All week I questioned why we were placed in this school. On Friday of that week I had been praying that negative spirit off of me and I also prayed for opportunities; guess what? God completely answered me!...
