Training camp is so different than what I thought it would be. I honestly didn't know what to expect but I had my ideas of what it would be like.
I thought training camp would be a bunch of hard core, intense lectures. That there would be a lot of time spent just sitting listening to lectures, and some time with my team away from the other teams.
It's not that way!
Every moment is a team bonding time. It's been awesome to see the Lord bringing the 9 of us together starting the instant we entered the airport. Everyday, multiple times throughout the day is just a time to be crazy – I mean SUPER crazy, and do things to move your body.
I've loved the worship times and the way we have prayed together. It is so different from any way I've prayed or worshiped before with a group of people.
We have had times where we do have to sit and listen to someone talk, but it isn't boring it's quite interactive in a way – yeah, I think that's the right word to use. But wait there's more! That's right people! It doesn't stop there! (I could so be a commercial person. . .)
Before we move on to something different we have the opportunity to practice what we learned. It's an awesome part(s) of the days.
There's so much more that I could write about, and I'm sorry for kind of being cryptic, but it's going to mean so much more if you just ask me about it. So, my assignment to you is: when I come home, ask me about training camp.
