Jesus loves Uganda.

Uganda is beautiful. The people are beautiful. Yesterday, I was riding with my team to teach/play at a school and I felt the biggest burden since being here. I think I was prepared for the poverty and injustice because I saw it in mozambique. Honestly, my heart was a little hardened until yesterday. Why? Why do women have to carry their baby miles and miles on bike to fetch water? Why don't people have enough money to educate, feed, clothe or shelter their children? For me, its important not to stay there in that place of hopelessness, because the Truth is that there is Hope. I call Him Jesus. He loves this place. He loves the children that go hungry and the mamas taking care of their babies. A beautiful thing is the ones that love Him back. The 5 and 6 year olds that willingly pray for an hour on their knees. Today, Jesus is taking us to the church to speak and do a drama to encourage and support AIDS victims.

There is Hope.

Come share life and be broken. Break open the alabaster jar and let your most expensive perfume flow…your life:)
