Meet Jenna.
Jenna is a precious woman in her late 60's who is a widow, a mother, a grandmother, care taker, and provider.
Just one look at her and you can tell she is a fighter. She is strong, brave, hardened by life and has an incredible story to be told.
I met Jenna when our team went door to door evangilizing to the community. We stopped at a group of about 6 women and just began conversing with them and asking them if they were "born agains" as they call them here and what their relationships with Jesus looks like.
When Jenna was asked this question she said very harshly, "Yes I know God" and turned her body away from us.
I could never tell so strongly that something was going on inside this precious young woman.
Just looking into her eyes i could see the pain of her past.
Throughout our time together we tried to talk to her and ask her about her life and she began to break down crying, but then she would get straight faced and hardened again.
The spiritual battle inside of her was raging so strongly.
Come to find out from the lady sitting next to her – she did have demons that we cast out but she was still be influenced negatively by evil spirits but they werent uncontrollable anymore.
I had never experienced anything like this before – such an obvious spiritual battle going on.
One minute she would be crying and the next minute she would be straight faced and staring at us with such a hard look.
I will never forget Jenna and this day. My heart breaks for her – I couldnt take my eyes off her.
At the end of our time we all prayed together and her one comment was that she has been through alot and she still is goign through alot and to pray for her family and for peace.
All this precious woman wants is peace – in every aspect – but i think this battle in her head is draining her to nothing.
Please pray for this precious woman Jenna and her heart that she will know she is fighting FROM victory and not FOR victory.
Pray she will cling to Jesus with all her might.
Jenna is forever in my heart. I pray to see her again very soon!
Pray for protection of our team – physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually.
