…Until my team is all together in Atlanta!
SO I wanted to write to say a quick hello and thank you for reading up on what God is doing in my life and the lives of my teammates! I hope that our inadequate words touch your lives!
To my generous supporters, thank you for allowing yourselves to be used as a part of God's provision for this trip! Your support financially and/or prayerfully is going to be used by God to reach into the lives of His people in Uganda. I'm so thrilled that you are a part of that with me!
I'm officially all packed…well, mostly! I'm finalizing a few things here in Jonesboro, AR and getting ready to fly to Atlanta tomorrow morning for training camp! Speaking of the next few days of travel…I have a prayer request! Normally, I would simply ride it out, stay inside, and eat all of the chicken noodle soup I could get my hands on, but this time around, that's just not an option. I have a nasty head cold complete with sore throat. And while that's not an uncommon position for me to be in, I would much rather not have to suffer through the discomfort while 30,000ft up! So I ask that you pray for healing in my body and for health in the lives of my team members as we embark on this journey! I strongly believe in the power of prayer! And while my first reaction is that this request feels a little selfish, I also believe that no petition is too big or too small for God! I know that He hears our prayers and I thank your for the time you'll take to pray this one.
