Alright. I know you are wandering about the title, as you should be. The story is a little embarassing but hey, i am in Africa.
Ok, so we went to church sunday and its like a forty minute bus ride, which I LOVED!!! Anyways, we got done with church and were waiting to head back home, so i figured i should probably go to the squatty. (For those of you who dont know what a squatty potty is, it is nothing but a hole in the ground where you go to do your business.) So i make my way to the squatty, do my business, reach for the toilet paper… There is none. Anywhere.
I was looking around for something that would do the job, and ya know what i found? A big ole pile of leaves… Yup. That happened. Ha! it was pretty great.
Anyways, back to what is really important. God is moving in mighty ways here in Uganda and in our team. Before this trip i never knew that the Holy Spirit was such a vital part of your relationship with God. But let me tell ya. He most certainly is. More than once since I have been gone, God has used me to speak into someone else's life. Like literally, the Holy Spirit spoke words to me to speak to someone else. It Is AMAZING!
I have never felt so close to God and i just can see so many ways that He is working in my life and so many walls that He is just tearing down. I love it. It is so cool to see God working in my life, in the lives of the people on my team, and seeing how i know He is going to work in the hearts of the people here in Uganda. Our God is so good!
Another thing that is amazing here is worship. like we worship almost every night, usually i play guitar with Aaron, not always though, but we just all gather in our living room in the dark because usually the power is out, and we lift our voices to God and I am just here to tell you that God truely inhabbits the praises of his people. Oh Man!
Titus 2:11-15. Please keep praying for my team and the hearts of the people we are here to serve!
