Training camp was a huge learning experience for me. I did not expect to grow and be touched in the way that I was.
I have learned what a team is. Our team has already grown so close and accepted each other, and it has only been a few days. I have been so inspired with the honesty and openness in our group chats. I see so much potential in our team and the relationships that are beginning to build.
I have learned what it really means to worship. It is supposed to be intimate and thoughtful praise for God. I have never praised the Lord so personally and with so much intimacy before. It was so incredible to feel the Holy Spirit moving through us, when we were all worshipping together and praying over and encouraging one another.
I have been shown and told that I have a voice. My voice can be used as a tool for God to use this trip to bring healing and hope to others. My voice is valuable and should not be taken for granted.
I know that we will learn and see so much together over these next two months, but we are in it together and the Lord will give us strength through it all. I am so excited for what God is going to do to our hearts now that we've completely and fully surrendered to Him. We are going to be so blessed by this trip because of our courage and leap of faith we are taking. Jesus says in Luke 18: 29-30 that "no one who has left home or wife or brothers or sisters or children for the sake of the Kingdom of God will fail to receive many times as much in this age, and in the age to come eternal life." This is such a wonderful promise for us if we are obedient to Him and listen to His calling for our lives. God is so full of promise for us, and this is just the beginning.
