So, incase you didn't know, we made it! About 13 days ago…haha
After the conclusion of our radically life changing training camp, we embarked on a 40 hour journey that was nothing short adventurous. We went from waiting for 9 hours in the Atlanta airport to sprinting from plane to plane in Germany and Ethiopia.
But what we did not know was that once we landed in Uganda, our journey had only begun. After 8 hours of giving up our comfortability and bus seats to our backpacks and suitcases, we finally arrived at our greatly appreciated and welcoming home. To our surprise, there was already a world race team residing in our new home. We were more than thankful for them, their hospitality, and their willingness to "show us the ropes".
We were told that our "ministry" did not begin until February 4, but, in fact, our ministry had begun as soon as we stepped out onto the dirt roads.
Children flocked to our arms.
Crippled men and women hobbled and limped toward our voices.
And evil spirits ran and opposed our spirits.
By the grace of God and the example of Christ, we have beeb able to
Hold and play with the children,
Pray for healing and see results,
And rebuke evil spirits.
All of which was done IN THE NAME OF CHRIST.
