Over the past couple montys, people have been asking me that question… a lot. However, the meaning of that question was actually, "Do you know exactly what you'll be doing at every moment of every day?" To the second question, the answer is no. This will not be an adventure where I know all the details before they happen.
Training camp in Georgia has not provided the answer to exactly what I'll be doing at every moment. It has, however, been a great experience. We've done some awesome things, such as staying at a shelter in Atlanta, had a dance competition, painted giant canvases, worshiped with freedom, and gotten closer to teammates.
The first question though, the one people actually ask, cannot be answered with a simple yes or no.
"He said, 'I love you, and that's what you are getting yourself into.'" (Thanks for those lyrics, Relient k.)
I know I'll be spending the next four months with nine incredible teammates and two leaders from around the country (and Canada!), and that God will be with us every step of the way.
That's what I'm getting myself into. And for me, that's enough.
