One of are many ministries here in Lira, Uganda is visiting primary school children. These children have taught so much in what little time I've spent with them. The children here have a know and love the fact the the Lord is their father. One child in particular that grips my heart is a 13 year old named Daphanie Kia.
Daphanie has a heart for Christ and loves to worship and learn more about him. She loves to asks me questions about the U.S. and answers my questions about Uganda. I really enjoy talking to her, and I have a strong feeling that the Lord have led her to me for a reason. She is now my pen pal and I tell many words of encouragment, reminding her of God's love and plan for her life. I pray that Daphanie will live a peaceful life in this nation and that God would continue to rain down his grace on her.
As for me, I'm in total amazement over what God has taught me in my small amount of time here. I'm starting to figure out what the Lord is leading me to do when I get back home in about three months. Peace be with you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
