Yesterday we had plans to do door to door ministry with one of the pastors from our contact church, but as usual in Africa, our plans were thrown off when we got to the church and found that Pastor James had decided to go out of town for the day. Upon this discovery, we just prayed and asked God what we should do, and we decided to go without Pastor James. On this journey, God led us to a nursery school called Happy Times where we met the director, who was strangely excited to see us. He began to tell us about his dream for the school. He had left his hometown to move to Lira and follow God’s plan for him to build this school. His passion and determination to do God’s will was absolutely extraordinary; I’ve never seen anything like it. After explaining his story, a couple of people were led to donate to the school, and we as a team, decided it would be great to help him build the school. When Quinto, the director, received this blessing from us, he told us that two days earlier, God had given him a dream about nine people that would come to help him. There are nine people on our team. It’s amazing how God uses our broken plans to fulfill His perfect plan. God is good!
