Hey everyone!  So for my first blog post, I thought it would be a good idea to tell you all a little about my team. Although we’ve only known each other for a few days, it feels like we’ve all been friends for a lot longer.  We’ve already experienced a lot of challenging things together: walking the streets of Atlanta at night, sleeping in a homeless shelter, sharing testimonies, and making human chair-huts.  God has brought each one of us here for a purpose, and as we start fulfilling our roles within the team, we’ll start fulfilling those...

In The Beginning

Week one is training camp.  Obviously upon arrival we didn’t really know what to expect or what we were getting into.  Honestly, this training camp has been a very interesting week!  So many emotions and lessons learned – and we haven’t even seen a plane.  My emotions started out as that of much uncertainty and I wanted so badly to be done with it all so we could just go.  But I love how God and the people of AIM scheduled this week for us knowing how much we would need it whether we wanted it or not!  Things move kinda slow at times and...
