Safe Arrival

We just spoke with the team leaders and the team has arrived safely in Uganda.  They are in route to their ministry site via an 8 hour bus ride and will be settling in these next few days and getting some orientation from their host.  Expect to see some blogs rolling out in the next few days as they find internet. A Retirement for Waldo

So, here is an update on our attempt to help Waldo, the Apha Hotel ministry van, almost $2,000 has been raised! Yay! First thank you for helping us raise this much. But to buy a new van we need $10,000, so we still need around $8,000 more. We are asking you again, will you please help us raise the remaining money to buy Alpha Hotel a new ministry van? As a reminder Waldo is old and falling apart, not to mention last night he got stuck in the road in the middle of a puddle and his engine is now flooded. Waldo Needs to Retire and Needs Our Help!

So, the ministry van, Waldo, at Alpha Resort Hotel is sick, old and wants to retire, but currently he has no younger van to take over his job. His sickness (besides being old) is frequent flat tires, a bad battery, many un-diagnosed problems that cause him to breakdown along the side of the road regularly, one of his doors doesn't shut all the time, and he's just plan falling apart. Waldo, knowing his days are counting down like a time bomb, desires to be retired, and to take a super long rest, but with no younger van to take over, he can't. He has asked us to speak for him,...
