Walk in that

This week we spontaneously decided to have a "prayer walk".  As we began to walk the Lord put a thought vision in my head. I began thinking about the life of Jesus and how much he walked. I began thinking the cliche thought of "what would Jesus do." As I kept thinking about this I started to pray for his eyes, his ears, his emotions, his thoughts, and his heart. To see things as he does. As if he was right there with us physically. He began to give me the picture of him walking and coming across the lame and healing them. As I explained my thoughts and visions to the girls, I began to speak out how the Lord was with us and the same story of Jesus healing the lame  hundreds of years ago..could happen today. To picture ourselves walking with Jesus..seeing things through his eyes and being open to any opportunities.

As we kept on walking we noticed a man standing on the side of the road. Although we couldn't see clearly, it looked like there was something he was holding. As we walked a little further katelyn says "is it just me or is that man holding crutches". All we could think to do was just laugh full of joyful hearts.
As we approached the man we could see clearly that he was holding 2 crutches.  (WOW!) We started off introducing ourselves and just having a normal conversation. Then we asked him about his leg. Jimmy explained his leg has been broken for 9 months. He was able to receive treatment and  a plate was screwed into his leg to keep it in place. He explained that there has been a little improvement but, when he walks sometimes he feels the screw rubbing against him. He asked us if we were Christians and told us that he was as well. Then we asked to lay hands on his leg and to pray. We prayed for his health and that his leg WOULD be healed in Jesus's name.
Once we began walking again…we were now walking in joy and in thankfulness. The mindset of "wow did that really just happen."

The Lord will heal Jimmy. If we asked in the name of Jesus and if it reflects his glory, and if it the lords will, then it WILL be done.
Although we didn't see any healing that day we know that the Lords will will be done. Even if it is a slow process..it is the Lords perfect plan.
The Lord is always speaking, we just have to be bold enough to "walk in that" we have to have the childlike faith to have open ears and hearts.  Even if we ask for something as little as asking God to give us the eyes of Jesus for the day..he is the God of wonders and anything could be presented to us if we just have that childlike faith.

Ps. Love you all so so much! So sorry for the lack of blogs but we have had a lot going on..as I'm sure you can imagine! Thank you so  much for your prayers and support.
