I could tell you how my heart has fallen deeper in love with this country… I could tell you that my heart has broken once again for the people here, and for their past… I could tell you that I just really want to cry again, and again for the hurt these people have gone through, but the tears won't come… I could tell you that even though the LRA is gone and the war has been over for about 5 years there is still so much hurt and pain still lingering… I could tell you that these people are still living in fear, that they are shackled by injustice, that they feel like a forgotten people, and that they feel they have no hope of recieving God's love…
But instead I'm going to tell you that I serve a God who deeply loves these people… I'm going to tell you that I serve a God who is fighting for these people… I'm going to tell you that I serve a God who is always thinking about these people… I'm going to tell you that I serve a God who cries constantly for the brokeness they feel… I'm going to tell you that I serve a God who desires so much to set these people free of their shackles… I'm going to tell you that I serve a God who is changing this country…
I'm going to tell you that I serve a God who is rising up a gerneration in this country who will shine so bright for Him that this nation (and world) will be forever changed… I'm going to tell you that God is moving in great ways in this country… I'm going to tell you that I serve a God who is never giving up on bringing His Kingdom to Uganda (or the rest of the world)…
There IS love for Uganda… There IS freedom for Uganda… There IS peace for Uganda… There IS healing for Uganda… There IS future for Uganda… There IS change for Uganda… There IS life for Uganda… There IS hope for Uganda… and God is giving it right now!
