Hey all,
So this week has been all about relationships for me. Relationships with people here and within my team. This week kids went back to school, so that means we had to say goodbye to not only Manuel my little buddy but some of the others as well. That was kind of hard for me because of the relationship we were beginning to build within the first couple weeks of being here and now they have left. But, it has also opened up the door for new relationships that have been there but haven't been able to blossom until now. Like Samuel who is in charge of water and sanitation at the church. I got the opportunity to spend an entire day almost just hanging out with him one on one in the Ugandan Countryside riding his motorcycle off road and going from well to well doing checkups. Then, enjoying a meal together once we got back in to town and being able to get to know eachother. Another relationship that I am really thankful for is my new good friend Noah who is a volunteer at the church. Me and him have had the opportunity to have some really good conversations. Just this morning I got the opportunity to help him with a job application for http://www.invisiblechildren.org who is hiring for an office management position in which Noah is more than qualified for! So that opportunity to be able to share that opportunity with him was really awesome and really connected us on a whole new level I think. Which is an awesome blessing for both of us! You can never have too many friends.
So yeah thats about all I have to write about this week and hopefully in a couple weeks I will post some photos of some wildlife.
P.S. Be on the lookout for a video about the Chicken Hawk and what it takes to bring one down out of the sky and on to the dinner plate.
Peace and Blessings yall,
Jordan Scott
