Ever since we crossed the border, Uganda has been different. It's homey. It's where we were supposed to be all along.
With more than half of the trip down and only 58 days to go, I can already recognize that this time has been priceless. Jesus has been revealing Himself in ways that He never has before. He's been romancing and pursuing me like crazy these past two months. And that is why I think of this time as my honeymoon with Jesus. One hundred and twenty-one days of falling more and more in love with Jesus as He continues to show me all the love He has for me.
It's been incredible. Yes, there have been plenty of "off days", days that just aren't my best (including yesterday, possibly one of the most miserable days I remember ever having in my life) but in general… it's been incredible.
