Training camp has been a really awesome experience. I can’t believe it’s over and I am so looking forward to the rest of the summer! I don’t know exactly what my expectations for this trip were before I came here, but I do know this: I am expecting God to show up in Uganda. He has been so present here and I am filled with hope about what the coming months will bring. I am expecting to be changed by Him as he impacts people through me. These are my big expectations, and I am fully trusting that they will be met. All the rest is details.
Luke 12:22-25: “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat, or about your body, what you will wear. Life is more than food and the body more than clothes. Consider the ravens: they do not sow or reap, they have no storeroom or barn; yet God feeds them. And how much more valuable you are than birds! Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?”
