Crazy Love

God is absolutely ridiculous. In the past two days so many things have happened i don't even know where to begin. I suppose the beginning would be a swell place…

7 of us from the team had to go get our visas renewed because at the airport they only gave us 1 month. We were supposed to get 3. Anyways, we got in our driver's car at 8:30 am thursday after devotions at the school anticipating 4 four hour trip to Mbarara. When we got there then we found out they wouldn't do it for us. They said we would have to drive to Kampala to do it. Another 4 hours away…

We got to Kampala and guess what, the office was closed! So we stayed the night in Kampala. The next morning we went to the US embassy AND the Internal Affairs Office. And guess what. No visa!!! Ha. The crazy thing is that God knew all along that we ween't going to get our visas. He had bigger plans for us.

The whole time we were gone on this adventure God had a plan for us. We each had silly little things that we wanted and God gave us each the things we wanted before we even had time to ask him! From the smallest silliest things we take for granted, like cold milk and getting our noses pierced, to big, highly unlikely things, like Jon getting to see his best friend that he hasn't seen in 2 years.

Not only did He give us the things we knew we needed, but he gave us each something we didn't even know we needed. And He showed us things within ourselves we needed to know. For me it was showing me how much community means to me and showing me how much i truely need and crave it. I have only known my team for a month and i haven't missed anyone as much as i missed them in forever! and we were only away from them for 36 hours! HA! We got back to the house and i had never been happier to see 16 people in my whole life.

There are lots of things that have happened since last time i blogged, but its way too much to write. But i will mention that i have now officially been a high school Goegraphy  and Christian Religion teacher. All that substitute teaching last year paid off!

I guess thats about all i have to write about for now. But i just want you all to join me in praising God for all that he is doing in my heart and life. He has completely changed everything about me in great ways i never would have imagined. Also keep my team in your prayers. Thank you for all your prayers so far. i know this is exactly where i am supposed to be and exactly where God has us. I love you all!!!
