Kabale, Uganda can only be described in one word: AmazinglyMagnificent&BeathtakinglyBeautiful.
I found myself many times drooling after just looking at the mountains.
Ok, not really but in all seriousness, the place is completely gorgeous and I am begging you to visit. The only way I can sort of explain it to those who have never been is that the mountains are literally like God’s huge arms wrapping around you. We were constantly in His embrace all snuggled up in the valleys of Kabale, and that feeling is amazing.
So Saturday night, the Lord actually gave me that same feeling again back in Kampala, but in a different, amazing new way. I realized just how AWESOME it is to say “Jesus, I LOVE you” and from the deepest part of my being- mean it. God loves me in a way that no family member, friend, or significant other ever will.It never ends, He is constantly giving it out..even when we totally mess up. He takes complete delight in our weaknesses and finds pure joy in our strengths. His love is supposed to make you hurt. It’s supposed to consume you from the inside out. We are supposed to constantly be striving to know more about Him, because He knows all about us.. hello, this is a RELATIONSHIP people! And Saturday night, God completely revealed that to me. After 2 hours of worship.. I could hardly breathe, I felt like I had been punched in the stomach. It was the best feeling in the world. I am in love with the CREATOR OF THE UNIVERSE, and He loves me back!
Let’s just say, I’m on a Jesus high here in Africa.

We are going Door to Door this week in Kampala.. pray that we recognize the Lord’s voice and follow out His commands.
