“Thy Word have I hid in my heart, that I might not sin against thee” Psalm 119:11

Cool story. So, at the island last week on the thursday, we travelled to another village. As we were doing door-to-door evangelism, where a muslim lady, among others, was led to Christ, a boy named Moses followed us around. The more we talked to him, the more we realized how good his english is, like his english was almost as good, if not, better than some of the translators with us. And this boy is only ELEVEN years old and in grade 5. And during our day there we saw just how hungry he was to learn more about God other than just on Sunday morning.  So when we finished the evangelism, we went to the school/church to do some worship and talk about how the ministry went. We discover they have fruit for us and Moses says, "Not only are getting food for the spirit, but for the body as well!"

In English!!!!

Like were did that come from?!
lol And it gets better.

So we're worshiping, and I'm thinking I should give him my Bible (NKJV) (there are NO Bibles there); he's eager, knows english well, and apparently at the top of his class at school.

About a minute into thinking I should give the Bible, he turns around to me, and says, "I really feel that you're going to give me a Bible before you leave." !!!!!!!!???????!!!!!!!

!!!!!!???????!!!!!!!!!

I'm freaking out in my head. We brought NO Bibles to the village to hand out and I did not say the word "Bible" around him at all. So I think that was God confirming with me to give him my Bible. And before this trip I was looking everywhere to bring my KJV Bible, which probably would have been to hard to understand, so I think God used that for this purpose. Sidenote: Mom, Dad, have you found my Bible yet??! So before I left I wrote at the front of the Bible to Moses from me and the date and the space provided, and gave him my email at the bottom just in case God uses Him for a bigger purpose and possibly has internet access years from now so we can hopefully talk. A lot of "what ifs," but I think it would be cool if we could talk years from now. I quickly showed him some tips how to navigate through the Bible and put a bookmark in John for him to start reading from. He's in God's hands now!!
