Sweet Dreams ARE Made of These!

Approximately 72 hours ago 11 starry eyed young adults began trickling into the Atlanta airport to embark on the biggest adventure of their lives. 4 months in a third world country with complete strangers, if that isn't complete and utter craziness I don't know what is. We had all seen each other on facebook, which helped keep the awkwardness to a minimum. We were all overflowing with joy, excitiment, and even some nerves as we headed out to load our luggage into the vans. After spending Friday night wandering around the cold Atlanta streets we headed into the middle of nowhere Georgia (not exactly sure where to be honest) to begin training camp. Over the course of the past three days we have worshipped, prayed, danced, cried, and spent a lot of time talking about our love of God's greatest creation-food. Sitting here it's truly amazing to think that I have only known these people for three days, training camp has been the perfect balance of fun and spiritual team building to bring us together and train up an army. God has renewed our spirits in preparation to bring revival fires of freedom, joy, and hope to Uganda. Three days ago I didn't think it was physically possible for me to be anymore excited about this trip, but I stand corrected. I am beside myself with excitement. This camp, this team, this trip, this work, it's what dreams are made of.
