Hey ya'll! Yes, after being in GA for 4 days, I now say, "ya'll." I just want to give you a tiny glimpse of the beautiful people who are going to be by my side for this entire journey in Uganda.
Jake- He is approachable, friendly, and compassionate. He genuinely listens and cares about your hurts in life.
Hunter- Lightens the mood, go-getter, a natural-born leader, and super tall!
Little Ben- Super smart, articulate, creative. He always seems to be volunteered to be the leader, and he never says no to the opportunity to lead because he's desperate for growth.
All three of these guys have stepped to pray for and defend the women as our brothers in Christ!
Julia-Lights up the room with her laugh and smile, she is truly compassionate and tender-hearted, and she came all the way from Canada, eh!
Esther M- She knows so much about life and health, observant and reserved, and is naturally a servant.
Esther A-Encourager, friendly, and a prayer warrior-she's so excited to talk to the Lord.
Chelsea-Observant, down to earth, and personable. We've recently had a few really meaningful heart-to-hearts.
Caycie- Interested in the lives of others, loves to laugh, and soooo nurturing!
Adiee- Tender-hearted, fun, and personable.
Kellsi- Team-player, full of good ideas, and super friendly–she jumped right into our team and instantly became a close friend.
Other Ali- Adventurous, courageous, fun and spontaneous–she encourages me to be unafraid.
Aimee-Although she's the youngest, she is a natural leader and encourager. She has been a fantastic roomie at training and she sincerely asks every day how she can pray for me.
Let's not forget our leaders!
Shida-She is tenacious, loving, and crazy(in the absolute best way!)
Big Ben-The nick-name speaks for itself–he's huge and ready to defend his little sisters in Christ spiritually and physically. He's fun, yet humble.
I feel like I've known these people my entire life, and it's just been 4 short days. I'm so excited to be in close quarters with my brothers and sisters. We will learn so much about each other and the Lord THROUGH each other.
Please pray for patience, understanding, compassion, and continued growth for our entire team.
I am so glad I have the privilege of knowing and loving this team, and I know we'll be a family for life as the body of Christ.
Love and blessings, friends and family; thank you so much for helping me get here and please, trust that we're all in good hands–the mighty and loving Hands of our Father <3
