For all my Kuyper peeps out there (if any of you read this blog) I saw a local wearing the Kupyer "Continual Worship" purple tee from freshman orientation this past year. It was hilarious, and I had to do a double take. I'll have my eye on the lookout for him so I can snap a picture next time. We shall see.
I'd like to use the remainder of this post to thank everyone for commenting on my posts; your words give me such joy and encouragement, and I read them all in their entirety. Thank you, Mom, for your consistency. I love the assurance in my mind that at least you will comment on my posts! Thank you to Nickie Newhouse and Patricia Byl for your consistency as well. Thank you to my dear sister, Sarah, for your encouraging words: I miss you. Thank you, Alexandra Jones, for your words as well, and feel no need to worry. As a reminder, my team will be praying for you on July 1st when you leave for Costa Rica, and I will be praying for you continually. Thank you, Peter, for your kind words. I am so glad I have the opportunity to serve in Africa and in your neighbor country, Uganda. Thank you, Elisa, for your level-headed encouragement. Thank you to anyone else I have forgotten, but I'll make up for whomever I forget in my next post.
Next time, I'll tell you about how my life as an English teacher to high school level is going, and other such things!
I am thankful for doxy. I am not thankful for the weird dreams that come with it. Should I be? Hmm…
God wins.
