Hey everyone. I continue to pray for you all at home and I hope that you all are having a great summer. We have been back here in Kampala for the past week and our mission this week was to do door to door ministry in the local apartment complex here in the city. So we split our team up into groups of two or three and went out knocking on peoples doors. We met many different people of many different races and religions and I was amazed at how many different kinds of people you meet in Africa that aren’t African. We met Chinese, french, Indian, arabic and of course African people all from different areas around the world. But no matter where they came from they still needed Jesus and it was our mission to go and tell as many people about him as possible. Door to door ministry is something I had never done before but we simply went out and trusted God that he would give us the words to speak and open the hearts of those who heard us. Some people we met were already Christians and so we just encouraged and prayed with them. Some had heard of Jesus but had never really accepted him into there hearts. Some did not accept him as there Lord right there but a seed was planted and we pray that those seeds would take root one day as God continues to work in there life. Others did accept the Lord and asked him into their heart and it is such a blessing to get to see the start of some ones life being changed. When we first started I thought it might be hard but we trusted in God and he gave us the wisdom and strength to do his will and spread the gospel. It was not by our strength wisdom that we spoke but it as the Holy Spirit in us that gave us the words to say. I thank God for allowing me to be used by him and pray he continues to do so. I have been picking up the guitar again and I really love to play worship music. I am even writing my own song. Computer time is very limited here so I am finding it hard to uplod pictures.
