The first few days have been great. Our training camp at the Adventures In Missions Headquarters has been different than I expected, and so much better for it. I envisioned long lectures and powerpoints about the culture and history of Uganda. Instead, it's been an incredibly empowering three days that have awakened my soul in a way I haven't felt in years. We've had a lot of rich community with each other and prayer that has filled me to the brim. I'm ready to pour it all out in the next few months!
Our leaders are two very strong followers of Christ and I trust them whole-heartedly. The team is bonding very well already and I am so excited to grow along side these brothers and sisters of Christ. I am so ready to ship out to Uganda and I ask that everyone continue to pray for God's Will in these three months!
