The last 4 days have been a whirlwind of emotions. God has moved more in my heart in the past 4 days than He has in the past 3 months. Training camp has been an amazing learning experience and a great time to bond with my team mates. This journey started with a 2 hour bus ride with a 50 pound bag in my lap for half the journey with complete strangers. After we arrived at our camp we were told to pick 3 items out of our bags and that's all we would have til the morning. We then made a shelter out of 2 tarps and spent the night under the Tennesse night sky. It showed me early on what it means to be flexible and live with less, and I'm grateful for the unity it brought in our team. One precious amazing truth that God has shown me continuously throughout these past 4 days is that I am precious to Him. He gave me this amazing picture of how He sees me, and all of us.
He sees me as a diamond of colors unexplainable and unattainable by regular human eyes. He has covered me with His beautiful holiness and no one can dimish the colors He has bestowed and clothed me with. I am His beloved daughter, with whom He is well pleased.
The Lord your God is with you, He is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing. -Zephaniah 3:17
Be strong in the Lord today, you are precious to Him and He is mighty to save.
