Everything I don’t want to leave

I feel like so many things have been happening lately, and that this really can't be my last week in Lira but it is! So I decided to make a list of all the things I don't want to leave

-Lucky
-The Alpha Staff
-The African handshakes that just seem to keep going
-The fact that sarcasm doesn't exist here
-Hearing "MONO MONO, MONO BYE, BYE MONO!" by children everywhere
-Feeling like a celebrity because of how eager people are to receive a wave hello from the 'monos'
-Waking up at 6:30 every morning by roosters
-Never knowing how many US dollars I just spent because I never grasped the shilling/dollar exchange rate
-Being put in foreign and uncomfortable situations daily, and just laughing at myself
-Not knowing what's going to be for dinner but having a 100% of it being carbs and bananas
-Having the staff greet me with hugs everytime they see me
-Being called 'Hadiee'
-Children pulling the hair on my arms because I have so much of it
-The satisfaction of washing your feet and seeing all of the days work wash down the drain
-Letting 6 days go by before even considering showering, and no one caring
-Having two roommates who I never get sick of
-Children breathing down my neck out of curiosity whenever I read or write
-Being surrounded by 30+ children who don't understand English but being able to make them laugh by making a fool of myself
-Orange Fanta on the daily
-Quoting "stuff Christian girls say" and laughing with the girls on our team because it's so applicable
-Sunflowers that are 3 feet taller than me all over the place
-The blanket of stars that appear at night
-Boda boda rides
-Having a time line that never goes as planned
-Every single member of my team
-Seeing people I love grow in their faith
-The love that the Ugandan people have for God
-Their dependency on Christ

basically, everything here.  just thinking about leaving is hard but I'm planning on making this last week the best yet!

14 days till I'm inTexas…what?
