We are staying in the city of Kampala at the guest house this week and will be doing door to door ministry. Our team is learning to get along and truly work with the othe ugandan team. God is stretching me in many ways, I have never lived in a such an out of my comfort zone area, just walking down the street can is head spinning- the traffic DOES NOT yeild to pedestrians so each time you cross the street it is as if you were in the Frogger video game! The main means of transportation are the boda-boda’s which are motor bikes that you can pretty much hop on at every corner. Today our team walked down to the craft fair in the city of Kampala, along the way their are plenty selling fruits and random knick knacks. Their are handicap homless scattered around the street corners- like ones I have never seen in the US. This is hard to look at. Last week we our team hosted a church service at a hospital and we saw one of the patients act out and throw a bible across the room. A he was escorted out they tied him in rope and i cried as my heart went out to this man. I am looking forward to tomorrow when door to door will take place- this will prayerfully be an oppurtuinity to really pour into the lives of many here..
