Howdy yall,
After 4 day I am now getting ready to not only leave all my friends and all my family, but also the comforts that i have grown to expect and never appreciate. My bed, a working bathroom (shower, sink, mirror, and toilet), a rain proof room, etc. and of course being so kind A.I.M. has taken these comforts away the second we walked on the property.
Oh, but the people here make up for anything possesion that i gave up to come here. I have 23 amazing teammates and 2 wonderful leaders that i know will help to shine God’s love to all parts of Uganda. Its obviously that each and every one of these men and women were God-sent. Each of us has fallen into a role on the team that is needed and will be used the whole trip.
From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work. Ephesians 4:16
These past few days have been testing as well as a great chance to grow and i can’t wait to see what God has in store for me and my team!
